Cretacolor Aqua Bric
Aqua Brique is a unique painting/drawing tool from Cretacolor. It is a watercolour block which can be used for standard watercolour painting but is versatile enough to use for drawing by hand. Each block measures 22 x 22 x 12mm and is equivalent to approximately 6ml of watercolour paint. The special pigments used provide brilliant colours and exceptional water solubility. It is easily converted into watercolour by adding just a few drops of water. The large block form allows for easy pick-up and use by hand and is big enough for the picking-up of colour with a brush. The Aqua Brique is suitable for a variety of techniques including watercolour painting and drawing, sketching and drawing, sgraffito, blending and frottage. It can be used on a variety of surfaces including paper, canvas, and wood and will also stick to smooth surfaces like glass and plastic. Aqua Brique is exceptionally lightfast even when used as a watercolour and conforms to the three top lightfastness categories.
